Hey, gang.
Here’s some updates on my comic book series WULF & BATSY in 2024.
1.) Thanks for the positive feedback I’ve received from so many of you, regarding Wulf & Batsy issues 8 & 9 (which form the first 2 chapters of a 4-part story arc, “The Fall of the House of Zag-Zog”) I was trying a different kind of story here. More inspired by old crime novels than horror stories. But based on the reader response, you guys really seemed to like it! Thanks!!
2.) My former publisher and I, are parting ways. Without getting into the gory details, let’s just chalk it up to “creative differences” and leave it at that. …But then, you may be wondering, what about Wulf and Batsy? How will you be able to read issues 10 and 11 (the remaining chapters of “The Fall of the House of Zag-Zog”)?

3.) In early 2024, probably February or March, I will be launching my own crowdfunding campaign for Wulf and Batsy issues 10, and 11… and I’m considering possibly throwing issue 12 on there as well. ALL of these issues have been 100% completed, formatted, and printer-ready for a year (I like to keep my comic book work way ahead of schedule). I only need the funds to get them printed and shipped out to customers.
4.) Expect more updates from this Substack as we get closer to launch-time for that campaign!
5.) It looks like I am returning to self-publishing (which is fine… I self-published W&B from 2008-2017 anyway). Check out my new self-publishing label: BLOODY WEIRDO COMIX. The logo is based on a drawing of The Wolf Man that I made in Kindergarten!!
6.) And finally… some new cover artwork!!
